Vrushabh Raut, a 28-year-old resident of Kannamvargram village in Wardha, had a dream - to become a successful entrepreneur. With a degree in civil engineering, Vrushabh refused to settle for a private job. Despite facing financial challenges and setbacks, his determination never wavered.

With his father working as a Class IV officer in the Veterinary Department and their family running a dairy business with 10 cows, Vrushabh's upbringing instilled in him a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. Although his initial attempt at a group business failed, he refused to give up on his dream.

Saving every penny, Vrushabh replaced the family's cow herd and observed a need in his community - the exploitation of villagers by vendors selling adulterated cattle feed at inflated prices. Determined to make a difference, Vrushabh decided to establish his own cattle feed business.

With the guidance and support of his father, Vrushabh invested in a single-phase pulverising machine and began his venture in April 2022. However, financial constraints surfaced again when it came to purchasing raw materials. The Bajaj Foundation stepped in here, providing him with an IGA fund to kickstart his business in August 2022.

Within six months, Vrushabh established strong market connections, generating significant sales and profits. Buoyed by his success, he expanded his operations by renting space in the MIDC area of Karanja block and purchasing a larger pulveriser, increasing his processing capacity to five tonnes of raw material per hour.

Packaging his feed in 40 kg bags under the brand name Vision Utsav, Vrushabh minimised competition and built strong customer relationships by offering the highest quality feed. With support from the Bajaj Foundation, he is now being introduced to outlets of FPOs, further propelling his business forward.

Vrushabh's journey exemplifies the power of perseverance and community support. Through his entrepreneurial endeavours, he not only realises his dreams but also creates opportunities for growth and prosperity in his community.
