Introduction Founders Kamalnayan Jamanalal Bajaj Foundation has been founded by Bajaj family, Shri Shishir Bajaj, CMD (Bajaj Hindusthan ltd). & Mrs. Minakshi Bajaj. After completing his MBA from New York University with a major in finance, SHRI SHISHIR BAJAJ joined the Group Company in 1974 and

has since then been shouldering the overall responsibility of the Group's Companies. Social responsibility is built into the DNA of the Bajaj Family and hence, established the Kamalnayan Jamanalal Bajaj Foundation. It was the

profound conviction of our farsighted founder, Jamanalal Bajaj that the wealth of a business enterprise was bequeathed to it in sacred trust

by society. The mission and mandate of the business organisation was to deploy this wealth for the social good. The essence of this

trusteeship, a concept firmly anchored on Gandhian philosophy, has always been the guiding principle for us at KJB Foundation. This guiding philosophy has, if anything, only grown stronger and firmer today in KJB Foundation. We in KJBF are deeply and humbly conscious of our

social commitment. Our sense of responsibility for India's rural poor is always uppermost in our minds
